Take one great festival, take one 40th anniversary celebration and take one great mashup artist and mix them together.
What you get is Bootstock a concept album put together by DJ Zebra for the 40th anniversary celebrations of the grand daddy of all festivals, Woodstock.
Using a mix of studio recordings, live festival recordings and the Woodstock movie, DJ Zebra has put together what is probably one best mashup concept albums of the year, and a close contender with The Kleptones’ 24 Hours for my personal favourite mashup concept of all time.

He’s coming to Europe for the Volt Festival in July and if that wasn’t good enough Party Ben has put together a new long mix ‘ to celebrate…life’.
Party Ben, for those that havent heard of him (and where have you been?) is one of the biggest figures on the mashup scene.
A resident DJ at Bootie in SF and also admired by Chris Moyles here in the UK he has been responsible for such classic mashups as Every Car You Chase by Snow Police, American Idiot by Dean Gray and many many more.
