Clock Opera, Guy, Nick, Andy and Che, were at Oh Inverted World at the Hoxton Bar and Kitchen on a playbill that featured Gaggle, So Say So and La Shark along with DJ sets as well.
There are pictures of all the bands to be put up here but for the moment here’s our favourite up and coming, should be signed already, band – Clock Opera.
Take one great festival, take one 40th anniversary celebration and take one great mashup artist and mix them together.
What you get is Bootstock a concept album put together by DJ Zebra for the 40th anniversary celebrations of the grand daddy of all festivals, Woodstock.
Using a mix of studio recordings, live festival recordings and the Woodstock movie, DJ Zebra has put together what is probably one best mashup concept albums of the year, and a close contender with The Kleptones’ 24 Hours for my personal favourite mashup concept of all time.
Christoph Rehage decided in 2007 to walk from Beijing to Germany.
Going on foot for 4500 km he didn’t make it to Germany but stopped a little short of his target, making it passed the Gobi Desert before deciding to stop the journey for now.
He did, however, manage to have some great experiences on the way and blogged about them on his website (The Longest Way ).
He also posted up an inspirational video of his journey which can be seen below and shows how he changed as the journey went on.
Bring some photo id, your on the guest list but they like to be careful.
Welcome to YOYO, venue for some pretty high profile acts in the past and now venue for Clock Opera, not once but twice in ten days. Last week on the 21st of July they were with Marina and the Diamonds and last night they were with GhostCat who headlined the evening with some raucous rock that had the audience joining in.
