Tone Mapped Photographs – June

15 June 2009 No Comment

Here’s a selection of photos taken with a Canon 40D and various lenses and then processed using tone mapping software.

Especially good this month are the images of the gin still taken at 3 Mills Island studio complex in Bromley By Bow.

Clambering around on the upper gantry, about 50 feet up, in one of the spaces while taking photos of Tangled Feet theatre company in rehearsals the view of the still was amazing.

Also there are some images of landscapes – Ireland in the Waterford area and a hotel I stayed at in Speyside which show the effect of tone mapping on sky and natural features.

There is the expected still life too. Taken in the garden of an artist it shows the effects of different textures on tone mapping.
