A touch of Hollywood magic arrived at the Silverstone racetrack on Thursday (July 3) ahead of the British Grand Prix weekend.

As part of the promotion for the new Batman movie ‘The Dark Knight’, Italian Toyota driver Jarno Trulli raced against the movie’s Batmobile marking the partnership between the Toyota team and Warner Bros. Pictures.

‘The Dark Knight’ is the follow up to 2005′s ‘Batman Begins’ which stars Christian Bale as the film’s eponymous hero. The death of actor Heath Ledger soon after he completed filming for his role of The Joker is likely to overshadow a lot of the movie’s promotion.

‘The Dark Knight’ opens 18 July in the U.S. and across the world soon after.
